Fur Infection LITE went live as a HopeStar Studio Roblox universe on 17 April 2026. The root place is 125466848790058. The public title at the time of this wiki is [UPD] Fur Infection LITE (VR). That string is doing three jobs: it tells you the build is patched, it tells you the loop is the lighter infection game, and it tells you VR is a first-class client, not a fan hack.

What shipped

The official description is short on purpose:

LITE versus Outbreak

HopeStar also runs Fur Infection Outbreak (place 120550559221143). Outbreak is the larger, older-feeling product in the same clothes: laboratory, vests, grabs, seasonal events, and extra systems that showed up in 2026 videos (fishing, mining, Easter keys, blackout). LITE is the version you can actually finish explaining in one sitting, and the version that advertises VR in the title.

The mid-page video is an Outbreak overhaul recap. Watch it for studio direction — map density, combat feel, how hard they are willing to rewrite a lobby. Do not follow its event checklist inside LITE. If a system is not in this universe, it is not a hidden quest. It is another game.

Creators already treat the two as a family. Bom Only’s “LITE Version” video exists because players were asking. If you arrived from Outbreak, expect the same virus fantasy and a shorter menu of side activities. If you arrived from Kiwi Games’ Furry Infection, expect a different shop, a different map, and no LIKE code.

VR as a launch feature

Putting (VR) in the title is a promise. Enable VR in Roblox, confirm tracking, then join. The combat rules do not change. The camera does. Read the VR checklist and controls before you blame a grab on “broken VR melee.”

Why the player count jumped

A VR tag on a HopeStar infection game is catnip for two audiences: people who already liked Outbreak and people who want a shorter loop on a headset. Public servers in the thousands are not a Steam “peak CCU” chart, but they are enough to tell you LITE is not an empty test place. Treat full servers as a skill check. A packed 30-player box is harder for humans and easier for the first morphs. If you want a teaching lobby, hop until the count drops, then run Getting Started for real.
