Fur Infection LITE Weapon Tier List
S-tier is the swing that saves a grab, not the shiniest bat.
This list is for humans in Fur Infection LITE. Infected players should close it and open the mutation tier list. Shop names can change; ranks are roles. If your shop says “Katana” or a unique HopeStar label, map it to reach versus speed using weapons and armor.
S — buy if you can recast it after a death
- Long melee (katana-class) — wins doorways and stairs if you respect the cooldown. The extra studs are the difference between a grab connecting and a morph bouncing off.
- Light Vest — not a weapon, still S. Extra HP that does not ask you to aim. Route it before you hunt a named sword.
S-tier is short because LITE is not a 40-item MMO. If everything is S, you are reading a content farm.
A — strong when you already have a vest
- Heavy melee / “crucible-class” hits — beginner videos call out a slow, hard swing. Take it when you can stand still for the animation. Miss and you are grabbed.
- Ranged peel (pistol-class) — A only as a save tool. Dumping a mag into a morph that is already on a teammate is correct. Peeking every corner with it is how you die reloading.
- Heavy Vest — A if the lobby is slow, B if morphs already own the halls. The HP is real. The speed tax is also real.
B — honest starter tools
- Baseball bat / free melee — B because it exists on spawn. A bat with a cooldown discipline beats an S-tier you never afford. This is the getting started buy.
- Mid axes — fine in corners, poor in wide rooms. Upgrade when you have cash, do not sentimentalize it.
C — pay for looks, not for wins
- Golden reskins of B-tier tools — if the stats are clones, the gold is C. One-life shine does not intimidate a player who already grabbed you twice.
- Emote tools / joke items — C even if they make a clip. Equip them after the lobby is already yours.
D — leave them on the shelf
- Anything you cannot swing before the first grab — a 300-cash gun you are still unlocking in the UI while a rabbit form enters the room is D in practice, whatever the tooltip says.
- Floor loot sitting in goo — the weapon is not D. The route is. Walk around.
Pairing with a kit
Spawn kit: B melee, then Light Vest, then A melee. That is the whole loadout tool in one sentence. Duo kit: one long melee, one peel gun. Do not both buy pistols.
Infected counter: long melee beats front grabs; short melee beats morphs in a phone-booth stair. If you keep losing to a specific form, that is a mutations problem, not a shop problem.
What this list will not do
It will not copy Kiwi Games prices (Katana 100 cash, Pistol 300 cash) as if they were LITE. Those numbers belong to a 2022 arena. It will not rank game-pass cosmetics. If a LITE pass spawns a gun every life, that gun is treated as S for pass owners and ignored for everyone else.
When HopeStar patches swing speed or vest HP, this table gets a note on patch notes. Until then, buy the role, not the meme name from a 40-second TikTok.
Worked example: 80 cash, one teammate, morphs at the door
You do not have S-tier money. You have a bat-class swing and a friend. That is Kit C from the loadout tool with worse labels. Player 1 keeps the bat and faces the door. Player 2 never opens the shop. If a vest is three rooms away through goo, it is not S anymore; it is a faction change. See mutations. After one successful hold you may send player 2 for Light Vest. After zero holds you recast Kit A.
If your teammate is on VR, they need more space than this list’s “stand in a doorway” line. Point them at the VR checklist and play peeler for them. A headset human who backs up is not a coward. They are playing a lens the morph wants to fill.
Pass owners: if a gun returns every life, it is your peeler slot forever and this table’s A-tier peel becomes your default. If you do not own the pass, stop planning as if you do. One-life pistols are still one-life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Fur Infection LITE on Roblox.
What is the best weapon for a new human?
The cheapest melee that swings, then Light Vest. Read how to play as a human before you save for a pistol.
Are golden weapons better?
Only if the stats differ. A gold bat with the same swing as the free bat is a C-tier flex.
Where do vests sit on this list?
Light Vest is S. Heavy Vest is A or B depending on lobby speed. Details on weapons and armor.
Should I follow Outbreak weapon videos?
For roles, yes. For prices and names, no. Map what you see in the LITE shop to fast / long / heavy.
