Fur Infection LITE Controls

Fur Infection LITE runs on Roblox’s default character plus HopeStar’s melee and grab tools. The experience title includes VR, so this page covers three clients. Binds can move after a patch; if a key below does nothing, open Roblox settings and the in-game menu before you assume the wiki is stale. The Getting Started page is the session flow. This page is the inputs.

Roblox also eats Shift for sprint in many experiences. If Shift does nothing, try Ctrl, then the keyboard section of Roblox settings. Do not rebind so hard that you lose chat.

Infected-specific inputs

The grab is a two-step in HopeStar combat: prepare the ability, then confirm from behind. Left click is still a shove, not a convert. If you only left click as a morph, you are playing the human game with a worse hitbox. Practice the prepare key in a dead-end, then read how to play as infected for when to use it.

Emotes, if the build ports Outbreak’s /e list, are social. They are not a combat stat. Do not emote in a doorway.

Mobile

Use the dynamic thumbstick, jump, and the on-screen attack button. Grab on touch is easy to miss because the ability button sits under the jump cluster. Landscape mode helps. Turn off extra HUD clutter if you keep firing the wrong slot. Auto-sprint, if you enable it in Roblox, will run you into goo — keep it off until you know the floor plan.

Shop UI on a phone is the other death. Complete buys in spawn. If you open the shop in a hallway, a morph will grab you through the menu.

VR

LITE’s live name is [UPD] Fur Infection LITE (VR). Enable VR in Roblox settings, confirm the headset is tracking, then enter the experience. Point the laser at HUD buttons. Trigger is click. Grip may be sprint or a tool depending on the Roblox VR mapping for that session. If the world is tilted, use Roblox’s recenter. If UI is behind you, turn with the stick, not with a full-body spin that yanks the cable.

Comfort: snap turn, vignette, and a seated playspace. Infection PvP is already nauseating when a morph fills the camera. The VR checklist is the longer headset setup. This table is only the in-round binds.

Melee in VR feels longer than it is. Do not lunge with your arms into a wall collider and assume the tool connected. Watch the cooldown bar the same way flatscreen players do.

Settings worth changing once

• Camera mode — Classic or Follow is easier for grabs than a locked first-person if you are new.
• Shift lock — useful for human kiting, dangerous in VR.
• Volume — footsteps and grab audio are information. Music can wait.
• Graphics — LITE interiors go dark. Dropping shadows is better than dying because you could not see a pink morph on a railing.

Common “broken controls” reports

• Cannot grab — you are still on the human tool. Morph first, then use the ability slot.
• Cannot swing — shop tool not equipped, or you died and the one-life bat vanished.
• VR click does nothing — Roblox VR pointer is not aimed at the button. Recenter, then point at the actual HUD, not the world.
• Sprint missing — check both Shift and Ctrl, then Roblox keyboard binds.

Once the binds feel boring, you are ready for human play or infected play. Controls are not the skill ceiling. They are the thing you should not think about while a vest human is winding up.
