Fur Infection LITE VR Checklist
Do this once per session so the Fur Virus is the problem, not the headset.
Fur Infection LITE advertises VR in the live title. That does not mean Roblox VR is automatic. Work this list before you take a bat into a hallway. Combat binds are on controls. This page is the headset.
Once, on the PC
- SteamVR, Meta Link, or your runtime is running and the headset is tracking.
- Roblox settings → enable VR. If the toggle is off, LITE cannot save you.
- Confirm a known-good VR Roblox experience (hands test) before you blame HopeStar.
- Recenter standing or seated. Infection PvP in a twisted playspace is how people hit a physical wall.
- Cable or a stable wireless link. A 40-player-feeling 30-player melee game plus tracking loss is a donation.
Every LITE session
- Join Fur Infection LITE, not Outbreak, unless you meant to.
- Spawn. Do not walk out yet.
- Point the laser at the shop and HUD. If buttons sit behind you, snap-turn, do not full-body spin.
- Grip versus trigger: one is click, one may sprint. Test in spawn.
- Swing at the air and watch the cooldown bar. VR melee feels longer than the hitbox.
- If you play infected later, practice the grab prepare bind from controls while nobody is looking.
Comfort
- Snap turn on. Smooth turn plus a morph in your face is a recipe for taking the headset off.
- Vignette on if you are new.
- Seated is legal. Standing is not a rank.
- Volume at a level where footsteps still exist. Music can wait.
- Graphics down until dark halls are readable. LITE is already dark.
If you feel sick, sit in spawn, not in a goo puddle. A morph filling the lens is a real advantage for them; you are allowed to back up. Humans on monitors will not understand. That is fine. Play human tactics with more distance than a flatscreen guide shows.
Combat notes that are VR-specific
- Looking down at loot is how you eat a rail grab. Pink hanging forms exist in LITE art for a reason. See mutations.
- Shop UI in VR is slow. Complete Kit A from the loadout tool before you leave.
- Script GUIs are 2D overlays. Clicking Fur Hub in VR is misery and still a ban risk. Don’t.
When VR “does not work”
- Black screen: runtime not running, or Roblox VR toggle off.
- World tilted: recenter.
- Cannot click HUD: laser is aimed at the world, not the billboard.
- Cannot grab: you are still a human tool. Morph first.
- Melee ghosting: you lunged into a collider. Watch the bar, not your arms.
If the title ever drops the (VR) tag, this checklist still applies to anyone forcing Roblox VR. Until then, treat headset support as a feature you have to turn on, not a second game. Launch context: LITE launch. Official links: wiki links.
A five-minute comfort test before you “main” VR
Stay in spawn and turn snap, vignette, and seated on. Watch a teammate walk past. If that already feels bad, LITE combat will feel worse. Play flatscreen tonight. There is no headset rank. The human guide works on a monitor and you will actually learn cooldowns instead of learning the floor.
If comfort is fine, buy Kit A from the loadout tool without looking at your real-world keyboard. If you cannot hit the shop with the laser, you are not ready for a grab. Recenter, raise the HUD, try once more. Two failed clicks is a recenter problem, not a HopeStar problem.
Infected VR is a separate test. Morph in a quiet puddle, then look at your own hands. If you cannot find the grab prepare bind, you will panic-left-click in a fight. Practice on controls until the bind is boring. Boring binds are the point.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Fur Infection LITE on Roblox.
Does Fur Infection LITE support Quest?
If Roblox VR on your PC runtime supports that headset, LITE can use it. Enable VR in Roblox first, then join.
Can I play LITE VR on Quest standalone?
Use whatever Roblox VR path currently works on your device. This checklist assumes a PC runtime because that is how most people enable the toggle.
Why do grabs feel unfair in VR?
Morphs fill the lens. Back up, keep a cooldown, and look up. Tactics are still on play as human.
Should I use scripts in VR?
No. The overlay is unusable and the ban risk is unchanged. See script safety.
