Fur Infection LITE Map

Fur Infection LITE is a 30-player interior, not an open world. If you cannot name the exit you will run back to, you are already lost. This page is the map primer: spawn, wings, vertical rails, goo rooms, and why “the other building” is how humans donate a lobby. Pickup detail lives on weapon locations and helmet locations. The mid-page video is an all-main-locations pass of the HopeStar facility family. LITE is a tighter cut of that fantasy. Use the video to learn room types (spawn, shop, vest shelf, goo stain, rail). Do not treat every Outbreak cave or desert event wing as a LITE quest. Those extras are labeled on summer week and patch notes.

Spawn and the safe field

You always start human in a protected area. Infected who walk in usually die to a kill field. That makes spawn an exit, not a house. Camping it teaches morphs your timing. Reset, rebuy, leave with a teammate. Getting Started is the spawn checklist. Controls is the sprint bind you will need on the first doorway.

Count the exits. One-exit spawn is a morph farm. Two-exit spawn is a hold if two humans actually look at both. Three-exit spawn is a wipe if everyone loots a different wing.

How to read a wing

Walk a new server once as a ghost (accept the death) and name four things per wing:

1. The door you entered — so you can reverse.
2. The loot that is on the path — bat, vest, or nothing.
3. The goo — color and whether it blocks the vest. See mutations.
4. The vertical — rails, hang points, stairs. Pink morphs in LITE art live above eye line.

If you cannot name those four after one pass, you are still sightseeing. Play as human wants a doorway, not a tour.

Rooms that lie

• Lit lobbies — feel safe, play like stages. Yellow and white forms want this light.
• Dark stairs — best human hold with a long melee, best infected grab if you look only forward.
• Vest rooms with stains — the shelf is bait. Take it from the side.
• Dead-end loot — a named blade at the end of a U-turn is a convert waiting to happen.

Infected map reading is the inverse. You want the stair the human cannot see. Play as infected and the mutation tier list tell you which silhouette belongs in which wing.

Vertical and VR

LITE screenshots already show hanging bodies and rail fights. Looking down at cash is a grab. Looking up is a habit you must install. Headset FOV makes the ceiling worse. The VR checklist is the comfort pass; this page is why you keep the camera off your toes.

When the map “changes”

HopeStar still ships [UPD] titles. A wing can gain a cave skin, a teleport, or a closed gate. Outbreak overhaul videos are studio mood, not a LITE promise. If your video timestamp 404s against the live floor, the live floor wins. Rejoin so you are not on a 90-minute stall. Then play.

A 60-second callout language

Use short calls, not essays. “Left exit.” “Stair morph.” “Goo on vest.” That is enough in a 30-player chat. If nobody answers, walk with the next bat anyway. Pairing beats a perfect map drawing. The human faction page is the identity; this page is the floor plan they stand on.

If you play infected, invert the calls. You want the unnamed stair. You want the human who said “I got the katana” because they just told you which dead-end they entered. Convert, then rotate so the next human cannot restock the same wing. Snowball math is on the infected faction page.
